DE PERE, Wis. — Jaire Alexander has been doing yoga once or twice a week for a couple years now. But Friday night was the first time he ever taught a yoga class.

While co-hosting an International Day of Yoga event on Friday at Voyageur Park in De Pere, the Packers corner took the mic for a few minutes of the yoga class.

He practices yoga to clear his mind, stretch his body and increase flexibility. He wanted to promote the practice during the free public event.

"It's pretty calming. You know, it really allows you to be one, focus on your breathing. But shoot, it's really a workout for real. If you ain't never done yoga, you should go see what that workout is like," he said. "It kind of helps block out the noise. Day to day, we have a lot of noise and a lot of things surrounding us. It kind of helps focus me, get my focus locked in and loaded more."
