GREEN BAY, Wis. - Former Packers guard TJ Lang will sign with the Detroit Lions. According to Lang's agent, the Michigan native has agreed to a 3 year contract with Detroit.
Lang spent eight years with the Packers and was selected to his first Pro Bowl last season. He underwent hip surgery six weeks ago that kept him from playing in the Pro Bowl. Lang has bean a full time starter for Green Bay since 2011.
Lang was deciding between the Lions, Seahawks and Packers. He is now the second offensive lineman to leave the Packers in free agency, joining JC Tretter, who signed with the Browns.
