The San Diego Padres drafted Hortonville native Caleb Boushley in the 33rd round of the 2017 MLB Draft on Wednesday.
Boushley was a two-time first-team all-conference winner for the Polar Bears. Boushley is currently a junior pitching for the UW La Crosse Eagles. He's the ninth pitcher in the history of the draft to come out of UW La Crosse.
