MILWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) -- Duane Wilson converted a late 3-point play and Luke Fischer scored 17 points and tied a career high with 10 rebounds to help Marquette slip past IUPUI 75-71 in overtime on Monday night.
IUPUI's Nick Osborne hit a jumper with 2:48 left in overtime -- the Jaguars' only points after regulation -- to tie the game at 71.
Henry Ellenson made 1 of 2 free throws to put Marquette up one with 62 seconds left and, after and IUPUI (1-1) turnover, Wilson's 3-point play with 13 seconds left sealed it for the Golden Eagles (1-1).
IUPUI made just 1 of 5 shots and committed four turnovers in overtime.
Darell Combs led the Jaguars with 21 points and seven rebounds.
Marquette made 24 of 29 free throws while IUPUI hit 10 of 10 foul shots.
Ellenson finished with 18 points and Wilson scored 16.
