Marquette has traveled into a New York snowstorm with the intention of playing St. John's in a Big East matchup Saturday night.
After having shootaround at Madison Square Garden, that game has been postponed.
Marquette announced through social media Saturday afternoon that they will reschedule the game. It's now set for Sunday at 2:45 p.m. on the St. John's campus at Carnasecca Arena, not the MSG.
The team intended to play, so into its preparation that when it discovered taking a team bus was not the most opportune way to get to Madison Square Garden for shootaround, Marquette improvised and did what millions do every day in New York.
Take the subway.
