The Iowa Hawkeyes picked up another Green Bay area football player.
Bay Port tight end Jack Plumb announced his commitment to Iowa on Twitter Monday.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound tight end projects as an offensive tackle at the collegiate level. He is a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports.
Although Iowa was the first major school to offer Plumb, many expected him to stay in-state with a pledge to the Wisconsin Badgers. Plumb also drew offers from Minnesota, Michigan State, Arizona State and others.
Plumb joins the 2018 freshman Hawkeyes class with another commit from the area, Henry Geil, a running back at Green Bay Preble. Iowa currently has three Wisconsin natives on its football roster.
