APPLETON (WGBA) - At 6'6", Taylor Lauterbach stands out above her competition.
The Appleton West senior has transformed herself from a self-described "bad player" to a future Division 1 athlete at Kansas State.
Lauterbach didn't start playing basketball until sixth grade, but now has developed herself into one of the top players in the state.
She is averaging 19 points and 11 rebounds per game. Appleton West will be a No. 7 seed when the WIAA Tournament begins next week.
