“Love chocolate? This run is for you!” says chocoholicfrolicrun.com. “The Chocoholic Frolic 5K/10K/KidsK is coming to Appleton, Wisconsin on July 31st and it is fun for all!”
“This race is for people of all ages and all experience levels,” notes chocoholicfrolicrun.com. The 5K and 10K races are chip timed and designed for competitive runners as well as relaxed walkers and runners.
”The top three winners in each race will win chocolate awards, along with the first-place female and male finishers in seven age categories.”
Whether you run, jog, walk or skip through the course, you can take advantage of the chocolate stops along the race route, courtesy of Vande Walle’s Candies, a Wisconsin staple.
“Much attention and dedication has been put into ensuring that Vande Walle's chocolates and confections are the absolute best,” says vandewallecandies.com.
Additionally, everyone at the finish line will be greeted with a mini fondue of melted chocolate with treats for dipping and plenty of other “refuelments”.
No matter how you choose to navigate the race, everyone receives chocolate at the finish line as well as a technical quarter-zip jacket, race tote and Chocoholic Frolic Finisher Bar. Children in the kids run receive a race shirt, cinch sac and finisher cookie.
