The cold weather seems to be sticking around, but luckily, outdoor workers know what to do to keep warm, even if it's not their favorite time to be working outside.
We spoke with Mike Pierce with Pierce Roofing.
He hold us he's been in the business for nearly 22 years, so he knows how to tackle these brutal temperatures.
He said he bundles up in good base layers, warm socks, and gets the job done.
"Just common sense. Cover your skin, you know, I got the homemade face mask here, so I'm good to go," said Pierce as he pointed to his beard.
Pierce told us the toughest part about working in this weather is finding the right gloves to wear so his hands are warm, but still able to pick things up and work.
Pierce said he and his workers typically work outside until the windchill hits between 25 and 30 degrees below zero.
