OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — The new Tundra Card Show brought together collectors, fans and dealers to buy, sell and trade at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Sunday, August 23.
With over 110 vendors packed into the room, sports card collector Emmett Erickson stood out — carrying a massive case to haul his collection. When asked about what makes for a good card to collect, this was what he had to say:
"A player that you enjoy, that's the most important part. I mean, whether you like to collect pieces of jerseys, or if you like to collect [autographs], or if you like to collect any other things like that and stuff. Mainly just what your heart kind of desires" Erickson said.

Card collector Hunter Yang started off opening Pokémon packs as a kid just for the fun of it, but his interest renewed in adulthood.
"It's funny. As I grew up, we come back around and cards are popping off like crazy now. We got sports cards, Pokemon cards, and it just means a lot to me. The fine art is really cool to look at too and collect and some of these cards are very rare as well. So it's always nice to have a cool card in your collection," Yang said.
Collector Marquarius Lee was trading away a rare De'Von Achane card. Even though he likes Achane, Lee had a clear strategy for letting it go.
"Because I know there's better cars out there, and if I trade it, I get a better card. I could trade that card to get an even better card. So it's like building up to get the greatest card I want," Lee said.
