SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (NBC 26) -- One person is dead and a firefighter is injured after a fire in Sheboygan.
It happened just before 10 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Michigan Avenue.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found heavy fire coming from the second floor of the building.
A victim was found inside and brought to the hospital where they later died.
Three other people were displaced by the fire.
One firefighter was treated on scene for injuries.
Damage estimates are $70,000.
The fire remains under investigation.
The Sheboygan Fire Department is encouraging residents to make sure they have working smoke detectors.
