OCONTO COUNTY (NBC 26) -- A 34-year-old man from the Oconto Falls area died after being ejected in a single-vehicle crash at 5:53 a.m. Wednesday on Highway M east of Neta Lane in the town of Spruce, according to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived on scene they located a lone vehicle overturned in the north ditch. The vehicle had been traveling east on Highway M prior to leaving the road and overturning in the ditch.
A 31 year old woman vehicle occupant from the Oconto Falls area was transported to a hospital in Green Bay by the Oconto Falls Ambulance for treatment of her injuries.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lena Fire Department and the Oconto Falls Ambulance Service.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.
