No injuries reported in apartment fire in Hobart

HOBART, Wis. — Firefighters were called to the 800-block of Centennial Centre Boulevard in Hobart for reports of a fire Tuesday around 6 a.m.

Multiple units responded including Pulaski Fire, Hobart Fire, De Pere Fire, Suamico Fire, Howard Fire and the Lawrence Fire Departments.

Brown County Dispatch confirms there are no injuries reported.

Hobart Fire Chief Lancelle says the apartment contains 18 units. Officials have not confirmed how many people were inside and escaped.

Officials have not confirmed what may have caused the fire. The Red Cross is assisting those impacted by the fire.

The upper unit of the apartment where officials say the fire appeared to have started is inhabitable, but the west side of the building should be okay.

This was the third fire overnight in a 24 hour span.
