Young son of fallen Wisconsin deputy goes trick or treating with officers across the state

Just days after his father was killed in the line of duty, a young Rusk County boy received love and support from Wisconsin Law Enforcement officers on Halloween.

Deputy Dan Glaze was killed on Saturday October 29 during a call about a suspicious vehicle near Highway 27 just south of Lady Smith. On Halloween night, more than two dozen officers joined Levi Glaze for a night of trick or treating.

The Facebook post has been shared more than two thousand times and thanks the community for the outpouring of support for the Glaze family.

Funeral Serviceswill be held 1:30 PM Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Old Elementary School in Cameron, WI.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM Friday at the School.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Appleyard's Home for Funerals, 19 W. Messenger St., Rice Lake, WI.

The suspect in the shooting, Dour Nitek was arrested and remains in the Rusk County jail on charges of killing Deputy Glaze.
