A boy, about 12 years old, was injured in a car vs. bike crash at about 4 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Bellhaven Lane and Stonegate Court in the town of Algoma.
The boy was biking east on Stonegate and was struck by a southbound car on Bellhaven. The boy was transported by ambulance to Theda Clark Regional Hospital in Neenah for non-life threatening head injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, but Winnebago County Sheriff's officials say it appears to be an accident and speed did not appear to be a factor.
