A woman from Michigan's upper peninsula has been sentenced to four months of house arrest after getting more than nine thousand dollars from alcohol makers in a rebate scam. Carol Rae Vitton admitted to creating more than 700 sales receipts to collect the money. The Ironwood woman was sentenced today after pleading guilty to mail fraud.
