Former Door County Humane Society Director Carrie Counihan was sentenced to 9 months in jail on five counts of theft. Counihan pled no contest to stealing from the organization back in October. She has 60 days to report to jail.
A Door County Judge also ordered Counihan repay $15,000 dollars paid out in insurance to the Humane Society.
