TOWN OF SHERMAN - A woman is dead following a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office was called around 9:45 p.m. Thursday night to County Highway D in the Town of Sherman.
Deputies say Nikki Jo Roos, 39 from Cedar Grove was standing in the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle driven by a 48-year-old J Luis Romero- Oliver of Random Lake man.
The man was not injured. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Reconstruction Team.
