An Oshkosh woman, who was accused of hiding a gun, allegedly used in an officer-involved-shooting in Appleton, was convicted Tuesday in Outagamie County Court.

Dree Sullivan, 29, was charged with aiding a felon after police say she threw the gun used at the Jacks-Apple-Pub shooting, underneath a nearby car.

Last May, there was a fight at the bar, which led to an officer-involved shooting that left Jimmie Sanders of Milwaukee dead.

Sullivan's boyfriend, Henry Nellum, is charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide along with other serious charges.

Tuesday, Sullivan pleaded no contest of harboring or aiding a felon by falsifying information.

“It's always challenging to enter a no contest plea which ultimately leads to finding a judgment of conviction, but my client has always been adamant about taking personal responsibility for her actions,” said Lauren Blumenthal, the defense attorney.

A sentencing hearing is set for April 10. Henry Nellum is scheduled to stand trial in August.
