Manitowoc, WI -- Manitowoc Police say a woman was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in Manitowoc.
It happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday at a home on the south side of Manitowoc.
When officers arrived on scene, they were told by the victim a female suspect had fled in a vehicle.
Then the victim admitted he was stabbed his girlfriend who was still inside the home. She was a different person than he had originally told police stabbed him.
The victim is a 40-year-old Manitowoc man. He suffered a laceration to his forearm and was treated on the scene by the Manitowoc Fire Department.
The suspect was a 53-year-old Manitowoc woman. She was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect was held at the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon, battery, and probation and parole violation.
