Wittenberg man allegedly used computer to facilitate child sex crime

A 49-year-old Wittenberg man has been arrested for allegedly using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, according to the Shawano County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest occurred after the man came to a pre-determined location in the town of Belle Plaine to meet who he believed to be a 15-year-old girl. 

The man was told he was communicating with a 15-year-old girl while he chatted with authorities for about three months. The conversations included sexual content.
