“Wine and Canvas” nights are becoming very popular around the country.
The art director and marketing manager for Wine and Canvas Appleton-Green Bay joined us on “Wisconsin Tonight” to tell us about the activity. They also taught a quick class for some members of our NBC26 crew.
Wine and Canvas was started in Indianapolis, Indiana in February 2010.
Classes involve sipping your favorite wine or cocktail, painting through a guided lesson. The best part --you take your artwork with you and leave the clean up behind.
Adults are not the only ones having fun. “Cookies and Canvas” is also available. With the same step-by-step instruction method Cookies and Canvas is a great event for ages 5 and up.
