This week on “What’s on Tap,” we’re featuring Short’s Brewing Company from Northern Michigan. In 2002, Joe Short started the brewing company. According to the web site, Joe wanted to put the best possible ingredients into his brews, brewing bold, flavorful and extremely creative beer.
The pub opened its doors on April 26, 2004 in Bellaire, Michigan.
Since then, they’ve expanded. Short’s purchased an old manufacturing building in Elk Rapids in January of 2008.
There will be a sampling of Short’s beers at Ridgeview Liquor Thursday, June 9 from 4-6 p.m.
