Guy Rehorst, is the founder of Great Lakes Distillery. Rehorst has a unique story brining him to this business. Rehorst was trained as a Broadcast Engineer.
In 2002 Guy became interested in distilling. Recognizing the potential of what was then a very small movement in craft distilling, Guy began Great Lakes Distillery in 2004.
Since founding the distillery, Guy has been active in several successful legislative efforts to turn back outdated laws relating to alcohol production.
Since its founding, the distillery’s products have been distributed in 26 states and have won dozens of awards.
