Badger State Brewing Company is a craft microbrewery founded in 2013 by three Green Bay natives. Co-Founder Andrew Fabry joined us on Wisconsin Tonight for “What’s on Tap”.
In 2005, the future Head Brewer and Co-Founder Sam Yanda began homebrewing beer in Green Bay, as a way to enjoy his time outside of work, which caught the attention of his cousin and fellow founder Michael Servi. Michael steadily watched and began helping Sam brew on weekends.
As Michael began to share his interest in homebrewing with friends, Co-Founder Andrew Fabry bought Michael a brewing kit as a Christmas present six months later – a small act of friendship, which later would later bring the three together to take a leap of faith into the craft beer industry.
They opened Badger State Brewery in 2013, helping lead a new generation of craft beer industry and expansion in the Greater Green Bay area.
They’re located at 990 Tony Canadeo Run near Lambeau Field in the Stadium District.
