A year after changing a local Vietnam-era veteran’s life with the gift of a wheelchair that allowed him to stand up for the first time in decades, Tundraland Home Improvements is once again hosting its Windows for a Cause art auction event to change the life of another deserving family of the Fox Valley community struggling with medical issues.

The event will bring art, local celebrities and the joy of giving is back for its second year on Tuesday, April 25.

From 5-8 p.m., up-cycled artwork created by area artists, community figures and organizations will fill the atrium of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. The event is open to the public, and guests can bid on the one-of-a-kind artwork—ranging from expertly executed pieces by well-known artisans to endearing efforts from favorite local celebrities—in silent and live auctions throughout the evening.

The money raised at this year’s event will send Delilah Presley, age 4, and her family on an all-expenses-paid weeklong vacation to Walt Disney World. Delilah suffers from an advanced form of Chiari Malformation. She is at risk for paralysis and other damage to her basic bodily functions, and is waiting for a second brain surgery to be scheduled in hopes of restoring normal spinal fluid flow.
