Tech Talk: Inspired Mobility

Posted
With Easter coming up this weekend, you might be looking for a different - even convenient way to connect spiritually. In fact, for more and more people, taking time to pray can be as easy as connecting online. Jason Strong visited “Wisconsin Tonight” to explain.

How do you use mobile devices to uplift and inspire? Recently, AT&T launched Inspired Mobility – a national conversation about the cultural shift in how people use mobile and Internet technology to enhance their faith experience.

AT&T did a survey recently and found that most people (90%) said mobile technology helps them connect to their faith community. Drawing on that, AT&T and Rev Run, one of the founding members of the hip-hop group Run DMC and now a practicing minister, launched the #inspiredmobility campaign.

There are also some fun apps:

The app simply called “Bible” is a fantastic free Bible app. You’ll have access to most of the popular translations and have them available for offline reading. The Bible is the cornerstone of any believer’s life. But, if this app doesn’t do it for you, there are literally hundreds of other options.
