Communities all over the country celebrate St. Patrick's Day with parades, festivals, and special events. And Sturgeon Bay, Door County is no exception to the tradition!
St. Patrick's Day weekend in Sturgeon Bay begins Friday night, March 11, with live music and more taking place at venues across the area. Saturday morning the fun continues during the annual St. Patrick's Day parade at 11 a.m.
The parade kicks off at Sawyer Park and proceeds up Oak St. to Madison Avenue. Once on Madison, the parade will proceed north one block, take a left onto Maple Street and go over the Maple/Oregon Street Bridge towards Third Avenue. Once the parade reaches Martin Park, it will take a left onto Third Avenue and proceed to Jefferson Street where it will take a right and end on the corner of Jefferson and Sixth Avenue.
