An event happening this week will allow entrepreneurs an opportunity to launch their business in 54-hours.
The international event, Start Up Weekend, will take place in Green Bay February 12-14, 2016. The International Entrepreneur Event, will host their Green Bay event at NWTC. The event starts at 6:00 pm NWTC 2740 West Mason St. Green Bay, WI 54307-9042.
Start Up Weekend Green Bay is organized by a group of Green Bay Entrepreneurs that are looking to grow the Entrepreneurial spirit within the community. This is the third consecutive year of Start Up Weekend being hosted in Green Bay.
All participants are welcome to pitch business ideas at the event. Attendees then vote on all presented ideas and teams form to launch the winning business ideas. Final presentations are on Sunday, Feb. 14th where one business idea will win the event. Prize details will be announced at the event.
"Start Up Weekend is a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation," say Chad Hendricks, event organizer and winner of Start Up Weekend 2014. The weekend culminates with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders offering presenters an opportunity for critical feedback.
