Blood donations during the winter holidays are typically very low despite the fact that the need for blood is just as important.
This winter, the Community Blood Center is hoping to increase awareness about the need and encourage more blood donations through their "To Give and To Receive" Promotion.
From December 19 through January 10 anyone who donates blood is eligible to receive on limited edition winter donor t-shirt.
