Here are some tips from Gideon:
~Start early
~Pay yourself first -- automate that savings, you won't spend what you don't have
~Live within your means
~Sit down with a financial planner and work from the answer or goal backwards. Breaking down goals into manageable near term accomplishments that are attainable is key.
~Treat yourself...do not totally deprive yourself of rewards. Set financial benchmarks/goals and when they are achieved, CELEBRATE SIMPLY!!
