The skies will become a sea of color as giant squids and other kites take over the sky at Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W.'s fourth annual Fly A Kite Fest presented by BayCare Clinic.
The event will be held on Saturday June 25, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Arnie Wolff Sports Complex, 3240 Humboldt Rd. Fly A Kite Fest is a free and open to anyone.
Proceeds from t-shirt, raffle and concession sales will benefit healthy child development programs at Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W.
The all-ages event will have a variety of family- friendly activities including giant show kites, precision stunt kite demonstrations, running of the bols, activities for children, kid's kite decorating, and candy drops. All events happen on kite time, which is dependent on Mother nature. Based on wind conditions there will be different kites in the air for attendees to enjoy.
