Parent Connection, a program of Family Services, will be hosting its 9th annual Butterfly Festival on Saturday, June 17 to support child abuse prevention in the Fox Cities.

This event will be held at City Park in downtown Appleton, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast. Activities include face painting and crafts, children’s games, inflatable activities, a kids’ experience zone, and butterfly demonstrations. The event will close with a group release of more than 1,000 butterflies at 11:45 a.m.

Registration is now open. Last year, more than 1,600 attendees came to the event. A family registration of $15 includes all activities and one butterfly per family. Additional butterflies can be purchased for $10 each. Families who join the Butterfly Club for $100 receive four butterflies, a commemorative tote, and VIP access to all the fun.

Families are encouraged to register in advance at www.familyservicesnew.org.
