Tickets are now available for the 2016 Prevea Runway for Life. This event takes the glamor and high-end production of fashion shows in New York City and raises money for cancer-related organizations in Northeast Wisconsin.
Prevea Runway for Life takes place on Thursday, May 12 at Jet Air, next to Austin Straubel International Airport. Event and ticket information can be found at www.runwayforlifegb.org.
The highlight of the event features a fashion show in which models walk the runway wearing the latest fashions from locally-owned stores and boutiques. Most of the models for Prevea Runway for Life are cancer survivors of all ages and are identified by the single-stem rose they carry as they model their styles on the runway.
This year, Prevea Runway for Life will benefit Families of Children with Cancer, Inc. This is a non-profit organization, enhancing the lives of children who had/have cancer and their families. They provide advocacy, education, emotional and financial support.
In 2015, Prevea Runway for Life raised more than $46,000 for Families of Children with Cancer, Inc.
