Scammers are posing as Wisconsin Lottery officials and their latest scheme may be in your e-mail inbox.
The con-artists claim that you've won money but ask you to pay a processing fee to receive your winnings. They demand personal information such as credit card and social security numbers.
Lottery organizers stress that they do not require winners to pay fees in order to claim a prize or ask for personal information.
If you receive an e-mail that you think may be a scam, contact the Wisconsin Lottery at (608) 266-7777.
