Members of the state's tourism industry are meeting in Appleton for the annual Wisconsin Governor’s Conference of Tourism. The conference will be held on March 12th and 13th at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center and Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.
Organizers say it's the tourism department’s flagship event.
Governor Walker will speak at the conference on Monday. Organizers say it's all about education in the industry.
“What are the latest tourism trends, internationally, what should Wisconsin expect, what's the economic forecast, and then we launch our creative for 2018,” said Stephanie Klett, Secretary of Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism
