The Winneconne Police Department is investigating two incidents of counterfeit bills being used at village businesses.
The two bills were reported to police Wednesday, the department said in a Facebook post.
The police department is asking people to refresh themselves on the security features that our currency holds and to not accept a suspicious looking bill unless it's examined.
