Lambeau Field is welcoming back Packers fans for the first preseason game of 2017 Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Before you head to Lambeau, the team has a few reminders for fans.

  • Lambeau Field parking lots open at 3 p.m.
  • Stadium gates open at 5 p.m.
  • No bags or purses allowed unless they are clear plastic, vinyl and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12"
  • Stadium cushions are not allowed, but stadium seats and stadium pads with no pockets or zippers that are 18" wide or smaller are allowed
  • Umbrellas are not allowed

Drivers should give themselves extra time to get to Lambeau Field for Thursday's game as construction projects and traffic may slow things down

The free Green Bay Metro gameday bus service is also available this year.

The first preseason game against the Eagles is the annual Bishop's Charities Game. To date, the game has raised more than $3.7 million for charity efforts in the Green Bay diocese.

The pregame festivities will also honor Ethan Engum from New Franken, Wisconsin as the Shopko Kick-Off Kid. Ethan worked to raise money for a new K9 officer for the Green Bay Police Department.
