Here's what you need to know about Saturday's Packers Family Night:
Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with practice officially getting underway at 7:30 p.m. The evening will feature a family-focused and game-like atmosphere with use of the video boards and gameday music, and the practice will include 11-on-11 sessions that will include live contact. The night will end with a fireworks and laser show.
Parking lots will open at 1:30 p.m. for the event and the cost will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program. Parking will be limited in Packers-operated lots, but parking is also available in neighboring areas.
The Packers are reminding fans of the NFL’s stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Stadium cushions are also not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18” wide or smaller are allowed.
For fans not attending the event, it will be televised on TODAY’S TMJ4 in Milwaukee, in conjunction with NBC26 in Green Bay, as well as on WKOW-TV in Madison, WXOW-TV in LaCrosse, WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, WAOW-TV in Wausau, KQDS-TV in Duluth-Superior and WLUC-TV in Escanaba-Marquette.
Lance Allan from TODAY’S TMJ4 will host the broadcast, which will also feature the voices of the Packers, Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren, along with Jon Erickson, Cameron Moreland and Charlie Sokaitis from NBC26.
