CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Tuesday morning the identity of the teen whose body was discovered Monday as 13-year-old Gabriel Carpenter of Elsworth, Wisconsin located near the Twin Cities.
Beach goers alerted emergency crews Monday to the body of a teen in the water about a half-mile from Fish Pass on Padre Island. Police believed it to be that of 13-year-old Carpenter, who had gone went missing Sunday evening.
