Weird Al Yankovic is taking a break from his high-octane theatrics and launching The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour which is a no-frills, stripped-down production.
Weird Al and his band will perform at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay on June 10, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
The production is just Weird Al and his band hanging out on stage, playing music in intimate venues like the Meyer.
He's promising to deliver a different set list every night of the tour with no two shows being the same. It will feature his non-parody material too, including deep cuts and obscure tracks.
“After 35 years of big productions, I just wanted to take it down a few notches and have a little musical palate cleanser,” said Weird Al. “This show will be loose, unpredictable, and maybe a bit sloppy – we’ll be making it up as we go along!”
Weird Al's long-time friend, legendary comedian Emo Philips, will open the show each night.
Tickets are $49.50 and $59.50. They go on sale Friday, October 20 at noon. To buy tickets, visit the Meyer website here or call (800) 895-0071. You can also visit the Ticket Star Box Office at the Resch Center.
