Construction on the Webster Avenue Bridge in Brown County is over and will reopen to traffic on Saturday, October 29.
Construction crews removed the old bridge, errected in 1952 in a project which began in July. The $1.39 million project included providing a single span, concrete girder bridge.
The bridge connects Highway 172 in De Pere with the city of Green Bay. An average of 14,000 vehicles use the bridge on a daily basis.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for Saturday, October 29 at noon at the Schroeder's Flowers Parking lot
