Authorities say a man died at the hospital after being found unconscious in a rollover crash on US Highway 141. Weather may have been a factor in the crash.
Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oconto County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a vehicle rollover on US Highway 141 and State Highway 22 Township of Stiles.
Reports stated the vehicle left the roadway and rolled down the embankment towards the onramp to southbound US Highway 141.
Once on scene rescue personnel found a 62 year old male from the Whitelaw area unresponsive in the vehicle. Oconto Falls Ambulance along with assistance from County Rescue transported the male to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
The crash is still under investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office. At this time alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, the Sheriff's Office says the crash was possibly weather related.
The name of the victim is being withheld until family has been notified.
