Many in Wisconsin are wearing orange today.
It's to raise awareness on this "National Gun Violence Awareness" day. Supporters in downtown Appleton called on the public to support what they call "common sense" gun legislation to stop the growing problem.
Speakers at the event included Neenah Mayor Dean Kaufert.
