The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office reports three people were hurt when an SUV rear-ended a Waupaca Fire truck on highway 10 Sunday evening.
Deputies say it happened just after 8:00 p.m. near Morgan Drive in the Township of Farmington.
When they arrived on scene officers determined an SUV driven by a 48-year-old man struck the back of a Waupaca Fire truck as it was operating with its emergency lights on.
The driver of the SUV sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to the hospital. Two fire personnel sustained minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
