Governor Walker touted his relief plan Monday as his Tax Day Tour stopped in Appleton. He spoke about his belief in low taxes to create new jobs, as well as putting more money in the hands of Wisconsin families.
"Income taxes are now down. In fact, a typical family, a medium family of four, over the past four years has seen a $919 total reduction in terms of their income taxes," he said.
The governor told the crowd that strong economic growth and low taxes go hand-in-hand.
