People in Green Bay walked Saturday to bring awareness to Cystic Fibrosis.
For the 5K event, walkers are encouraged to raise funds to help advance research and drug development.
Advocates hope each step taken and dollar raised gets them closer to a cure.
"If, as a family, we can do something to make a difference, we will, and I think we have," advocate Anita Theobald said. "Over the last nine years we've come to the walks, we've had benefits."
Advocates say they've made tremendous progress throughout the past several years.
