As part of Navy Week, the Navy had a virtual reality tent set-up Tuesday at EAA Airventure in Oshkosh. People could put on the gear and experience what members of the Navy go through while out in the field, on their ships, and up in a plane.
"It's going to give you a real life sense of what it might feel like. It's very chaotic. It's very confusing while you're in there. It gives you feedback from both sound and then you have the vibrator backpack on your back that's telling you exactly what's going on," explained Lt. Jr. Grade Joshua Werling.
Attendees at the annual fly-in can also visit the EAA Museum this week to learn more about the history of the U.S. Navy.
