Handbag and accessories maker, Vera Bradley, says its payment system has been hacked.
The company says hackers may have accessed customer data from payment processing systems in its stores, including card numbers, cardholder names, expiration dates and internal verification codes between July 25th and September 23rd.
The exact number of cards affected is unclear.
A spokeswoman for Vera Bradley says cards used to shop on the company's website were not affected.
