In Oshkosh the Police department invited the community to join them in a "Unity Walk." They took the time to walk together and strengthen the bonds that unite us all, after a week filled with tragic events.
Oshkosh is over one thousand miles away from Dallas, but for one night the two cities were very close. Hundreds of people gathering together to walk as one through the cities downtown district. Some came to show police their support and appreciation. Others hoped to open up a conversation about what's going on in America. For those walking, they hoped to change the tone of the discussion, and find common ground.
